Blind Tiger Pardoned Man Shoots Man In Alabama City
March 4. Clyde Chaney a 19-year-old pool room operator shot Sam Snider in the back after Snider hindered him from giving whisky to Chaney's two-year-old son. Chaney, recently pardoned by Governor O Neal from the chain gang, was placed under arrest. Snider was a cousin of M F Snider, a known Anniston merchant, who was notified of the murder Saturday morning.
