A Southern train hit Birdie Suttles and her brother Hugh as they walked a trestle near Lake Lanier nine miles from Selma. Ed Suttles lost an arm. their sister Maud escaped. Mrs Harper leaped to safety but Birdie and Hugh were killed instantly. Edwin Suttles survived with severe injuries.

Funeral Tomorrow for Birmingham Infant
The ten month old son of Rev and Mrs J R Lloyd died yesterday in Birmingham. The remains will be brought to this city tomorrow morning and interred in Hillside cemetery. The funeral will be from Mrs Carre’s residence at 114 East Thirteenth street at 9 30 a m. Only well kept vehicles are used by Donahoo and Co.

Eleven Year Old Boy Disappears In May
An eleven year old boy named Frank Belcher vanished on May 28 and has not been heard from since. Parents Mr. and Mrs. J Belcher express deep concern and fear foul play.
