Prosecutor Smith outlined movements of Mrs. Bailey from the murder day to her death at Dr Carman s office. Dr William Runcie, key witness, described the Carman house and Cartman s actions after the shooting.

Beatrice Nelms and Eloise Teernis, divorced Beatrice left Atlanta with Eloise to join lawyer Weetor Innes. Both women disappeared after June and investigators press for sightings as Victor Innes is tracked to Portland Oregon.
A five member committee weighs offers from Southern cities for the location of the new Methodist Episcopal university. Alabama team presents 2.3 million in cash and property with Birmingham offering 600 thousand. J W Duke lends 100 thousand if North Carolina chosen. Hearings continue into the afternoon.

June figures compare June 30 levels to the prior year’s totals, with 1,785,194 bales in manufacturing and storage facilities against 1,822,830 the previous year. Linters consumed in June amount to 26,945 bales versus 25,955 a year earlier.
Surgeons discuss the case of Dr Herbert Morrow a chemist who reportedly revived himself by striking his chin with his feet after a fall left him paralyzed and unable to move or speak. He propped himself up and struck under the chin and later claimed a complete cure.
In Bufaula on July 14 Anthony Teel, son of E. C. and E. Teel of Couthbert Ga, reportedly was injured when his mother dropped him while reaching to pick him up in a local store. The incident occurred during a shopping trip after a family quarrel with relatives.
In Seattle on July 14 two people died and two were injured after Bessie C Holmes kissed chauffeur Joe J Tewler while riding in a car. Holmes and Wellwood Murray were killed when the vehicle crashed into a fence. Irene Halliwell, daughter of the Natienal Bank of Commerce examiner, was critically injured.
Huntsville July 13 campaign for a new commissioner seat for September election begins. M. M. Cantrell, manager of the Huntsville Fuel and Coal Co proposes as candidate. Former city council president Camtrell is named, joining William B4itch ell, Madison County sheriff, as a candidate. Other hopefuls expected to enter later.
In Dothan on July 14 Mr. and Mrs. R C Stegrehens and Mrs. Stephens's mother Miss Holder were seriously poisoned. Officials think tainted butter milk left in tin vessels caused the incident. Medical aid was summoned and all are considered out of danger. Mr Stephens is manager of the Western Union Telegraph company branch in the city.
Obregon and a cabinet group were aboard the steamer Emegenapne as tensions with Huerta linger. Prominent ex Huerta figures including former foreign minister Ruiz and Adolph Liarmess were on board, while Jaouquaim, Huerta’s nephew, led Vera Cruz forces. The U S state department said the Brazilian minister in Mexico City has not advised of Huerta’s plan to relinquish the capital.
