Anniston hosiery mill to triple capacity under Tyler Stringfellow
Messrs B C Tyler A L Tyler Jr and W W Stringfellow will operate the Anniston Knitting Mill in the former Katting Mill building. New complete machinery arrives by March 1 and operations start about April 15 employing 60 to 75 skilled workers. The plant will produce hosiery in many grades using yarns from new local cotton mills and aims for rapid growth as a major southern manufacturing enterprise.

Bound Over for Robbery in City Preliminary Hearing
Two men, John Martin and Morgan Williams, were bound over by Mayor Pro Tem Kilby after a preliminary police court hearing.
