Parker Memorial Baptist to Host County Bible Conference
A county wide Bible conference at Parker Memorial Baptist Church begins Tuesday and runs through January 17. Delegates from all county churches are expected with a rich program on the Holy Spirit, regeneration, missions, and Sunday School work led by ministers from Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, and Virginia.

Southern Railway Introduces Birmingham to Richmond Sleeper
Effective October 1, the Southern Railway began operating a Pullman Sleeper from Birmingham, Alabama to Richmond, Virginia.
