In Albany Georgia Rev. C. T. Moncrief acting pastor of First Street Church apologized during the morning service for attending the banquet opening the new city hall. He said wine was served and he left before the last course. He called the scenes at the banquet disgraceful and accused city leaders of violating prohibition. Selma Dec 21 Governor Comer countermanded the action directing a local company of State troops to Magnolia. The unit was ready to depart by special train when the order was canceled. Officials say no further trouble is feared at Magnolia.
