Improvements At Oxford Lake Arising In Paris

The Oxford Lake pool complex is being rebuilt in concrete with new 60 by 24 foot men pools 40 by 24 foot women pools and 20 by 10 foot children pools. A two story wood superstructure will house dressing rooms showers and offices while an inner run around the pools and external balconies serve bathers. A lake access arch will ease crowding and the plans aim to make Oxford Lake a premier recreation spot in the south. Manager H W Sexton leads these improvements praised by the public patronage they attract.

Will Perry to be tried in Anniston next week

The Star shows the Anniston hotel a 100000 property under construction at Twelfth and Noble streets. Architect W Carlton & Co designed it for Jefferson Construction Co. It features telephones in each room long distance access from rooms hydraulic elevators a roof garden and a noble street main entrance. State Receipts Show Increase In Year to Date

Montgomery Dec 6 The receipts of the auditor's office to date this year total about 319000, compared with 307000 at the same date last year, indicating an increase of roughly 12000. The report reflects the burden on taxpayers.
