After the Storm the Calm and Mobile Suffer Damage

Special Telegram reports Mobile endured a high storm with six inches of Thursday rain and sixty mph winds. The city lost telegraph service for hours while the coast saw extensive damage to bath houses and homes. one fort vessel dragged anchor and the shell road was ruined. No lives were confirmed lost.
