Robbery and stabbing on northbound Southern train

Ground to death near Attalla on Sunday
L. F. E. Dick, about 40, was run over and killed by a freight train on the L and N line between Attalla and Morayne Sunday morning after midnight. The body was mangled severely and likely passed under by several freight trains. Dick was a widower with five children. his home was two miles from Albertville.
