Hugo Weise, proprietor, announces a necessary price rise at The City Bakery due to higher costs for all materials. Bread per loaf sixty cents, tea rolls per dozen sixteen cents, buns per half dozen six cents, doughnuts fifteen cents, pies nineteen cents each.
Esther Irene Scholl daughter of William Scholl was born September 19 1900 in Lincoln township Cass county and died May 5 1917 at age sixteen years seven months and twenty six days after typhoid fever and pneumonia. Survived by father five brothers three sisters and grandmother. Funeral held at home with Rev Robt W Swick and burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
