City and School Elections Set for First of April
The first week in April brings two elections in Andrews. A city ballot will elect a mayor and two aldermen on April 4. W. H. Guthrie is the sole declared candidate for the city ticket. Aldermen incumbents W. L. Reed and C. H. Pettis seek re-election while the school trustees race will elect seven countywide trustees.

The Andrews Rural High School District board met last Saturday and offered contracts for another year to teachers including Miss Willie Allen, J. Lee Smith, E W Dickerson, Nat Hynds, and others.
