County to rule on proposed Andrews Medical Clinic wing
Andrews County commissioners will decide on a request from the Andrews Medical and Surgical Clinic after an Attorney General's opinion was reviewed by County Judge Roy Bennett. Dr Z W Hutcheson said doctors would lease a county built wing at Permian General Hospital for about 1000 dollars monthly for ten years, then 500 dollars monthly thereafter, with ownership remaining with the county. The plan includes bringing in a pediatrician to create a regional medical center and moving from current quarters due to a sale.
