Midland Man Injured In Van Crash And Trucker Dies

A Midland man escaped serious injury when his van overturned 4:30 p.m. Wednesday on Spider Taylor Road 2.3 miles north of Midland. William P. Hopkins of Odessa owned the van from Industrial Commercial Industries and was treated and released at Permian General Hospital. Separately, Larry Keith Davis, 25, of Andrews died en route to Odessa after a tanker truck overturned on U.S. 385 north of Andrews about 1:35 p.m. Davis worked for Chemical Service Supply of Andrews and was an Army Viet Nam veteran. Burial plans are with Singleton Funeral Home in Seminole following services at South Seminole Baptist Church. he was born January 29, 1948 in Snyder and had lived in Seminole 12 years.
