Water Rates For Summer Lowered By City Council
Beginning April first the City Council approves a summer rate for water users to water trees grass and flowers and grow a garden. The first 2000 gallons cost 3 dollars and any amount above that is 40 cents per thousand gallons.

Otis Eugene Ogden three and a half was found floating in his grandfather’s tank behind the Andrews home after being missing while playing outside His mother and grandmother prepared dinner for the day The child died after efforts by a palmator crew and Dr Headlee from Odessa could not revive him Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church with Rev G H Bryant presiding He is survived by his parents a brother and numerous relatives and was laid to rest in Andrews cemetery.
