Mc Daniels celebrate 50th wedding anniversary in Pendleton

Mr. and Mrs. Wayne McDaniel of Pendleton formerly of Anderson marked their 50th anniversary with an open house hosted by their daughter and son in law Mr. and Mrs. Jack Kadsorf in Pendleton. They married April 3, 1928 in Ilington Ind. The couple lived in Anderson then Colorado before moving to Pendleton in 1948. He retired after 30 years at Delco Remy in 1965. Their family includes grandson Dan.

Indiana experts promote Kiss Your Baby Week May 14 to 21 to raise awareness of cystic fibrosis. Frutkin notes one in 1,500 live births has CF. symptoms include salt taste when kissing babies, wheezing, prolonged cough, recurrent pneumonia, appetite changes with poor weight gain, and finger clubbing. Four Indiana CF centers offer testing and referrals. A rummage sale at St Rose Church fundraiser runs today and tomorrow in Knightstown Library basement.
