Angies Police Woman shifts stir stars and ratings
Los Angeles reports Angie Dickinson defends Police Woman amid NBC schedule moves. The series has bounced from Fridays to Thursdays to Tuesdays and Wednesdays, then back to Thursdays, as NBC tests audience response while rival shows like Barnaby Jones Baretta MASH and Starsky and Hutch compete for viewers. Dickinson says the network is trying to avoid a dieing audience and acknowledges the moves may confuse fans.
