Anniversary celebrations mark Prinity United Methodist Church of Lapel
Madison County church notes mark the founding anniversary with a Sunday program featuring Orrin Nifold as guest speaker at 9 30 a.m. The Rev Joseph Wagner hosts, with Rev E Imler and Rev Garfield Stedman appearing, followed by a noon dinner and address by Rev Donald R Barnes. The church dates to 1828 with earlier log meetings, relocated in 1892 and remodeled in 1915. Also listed are Vacation Bible Schools at several area churches, a First United Methodist Thesis gospel program, a Davis Park outdoor service with Mary Sellars, and news on new pastor James Swan arriving from Nine Mile United Methodist Church.
