Bowen swears in three to Indiana Court of Appeals
Indiana Governor Otis R Bowen swore in former U S Attorneys James B Young and Stanley B Miller and Plymouth attorney Eugene N Chipman to three new seats on the Indiana Court of Appeals. The appointments raise Bowen’s tally of state judges chosen in just over a year as he noted the habit of swearing in judges. Earlier Bowen named Hamilton Superior Court Judge W Sue Shields to replace retiring Judge Charles S White. Last year he named Alfred J Pivarnik.
