Miss Anderson Pageant crowns winner in weekend event
Saturday’s Miss Anderson Pageant at 7 30 p m crowned a winner among twelve Watien contestants. The event presented by the Exchange Club of Anderson served as an official Miss America preliminary with awards and scholarships totaling around 1000 dollars. Contestants Nancy Nye Mary Michelle McCarel and Danniel Vickery were highlighted with plans for further study and talents in clarinet singing and dance.
