Petition Calls for Emigration of Soviet Jewish Children
A group of about a dozen Soviet Jewish mothers in Moscow petitions Brezhnev and Soviet leaders asking permission for their children to emigrate to Israel. They state their children lack language and cultural education and fear a future without a motherland, offering to send children aged 8 months to 19 years even if they must go alone.
