The 22 year old city youth is accused of killing Pinkerton guard James Jobes at the Michigan Warehouse last July 29. Jurors, the first to be kept under trial for Madison County, heard testimony on custody of evidence including a shoe found from the victim and a time clock used by guards. Coroner Dr. Hess and pathologist Dr. Whitaker described the autopsy with multiple wounds, the bullet injury to the heart, and time of death estimated eight to twelve hours before the 10 a.m. autopsy.
