Hog prices and demand in Indianapolis remain fairly active with barrows and gilts steady to higher, prices ranging from about 21.25 to 22.50 for 195 to 230 lb. larger 240 to 270 lb trades around 20.75 to 21.75. Cattle and calves move slowly, slaughter steers weak to 50 lower, cows higher, bulls steady to weak. prices for slaughter steers near 34.50 to 35.50 for 1100 to 1250 lb, various grades listed. Sheep and pelts steady with slaughter lambs at 23 to 25.50 for light weights and pelts around 26.50.
