Pie Eyed Porkers Pigs Drink Alcohol Says Missouri Study
University of Missouri researcher Brown studies mini pigs that willingly drink alcohol for a year noting they become calmer and more peaceful after initial aggression. Pigs of 110 to 145 pounds prefer beer screwdrivers Bloody Marys and vodka with both sexes showing strong intake though males start higher. The study links pig liver and kidney responses to alcohol and aims to reveal human parallels while the researcher quips about his own diet and possible wine at dinner.
