Gary Teachers To Finish One More Week Before Break
Gary indiana teachers will finish one week before Christmas vacation while awaiting word on pay. The district missed last week's payday. They will resume classes Jan 3. The district may use 1.5 million in back taxes from U S Steel per a court order supporting a tax assessment change. Three people were injured in a separate incident involving bomb threats and break-ins across Belfast.
