City approves park funding amid grimy west Anaheim facilities
At a February 7 meeting Mayor Tom Tait and Councilwoman Denise Barnes highlighted grimy bathrooms and dilapidated park amenities in Maxwell and Schweitzer parks. Photos showed patchy fields, burnt-out lights at Haskett Library, and unkept structures to push for rehab funding for parents and children. Barnes urged action, calling the west side standard disappointing and creepy for families.
