Emerald Court expands with 58 new assisted living residences
Anaheim senior living complex Emerald Court launches a 22.5 million renovation adding assisted living units, a bistro, cafe and wellness center. The 58,000 square foot expansion overhauls dining, corridors, lighting and activity spaces with completion and occupancy of the new residences by December. The project aims to balance independent living with growing care options within the Kisco Senior Living group.

Disneyland Park Hopper Tickets For School Field Trip Program
Parks photos for the resort managers overseeing the program. The project is reviewed and if approved the resort sends out one Disneyland Resort Park Hopper ticket for each student involved. The tickets are valid for a year with no blackout dates but students must visit as a class.
Parents press for Palm Lane charter under 2010 law
In Orange County a court hearing on February 23 reviewed a petition to convert Palm Lane Elementary into a charter school. Lawyers described the plan as a fight by low income parents against a hostile district. If successful, a charter operator would be chosen and installed, with hopes of quick district cooperation and a rapid transition to charter management. The Palm Lane site serves about 700 students, mostly Latino, with many English learners. The district has spent about $778,176 on the case, and the decision may be appealed to the state Supreme Court.
