Anaheim City Council appoints board and commission members
The Anaheim City Council filled all seven vacancies on the Park and Recreation Commission and named four members to the new Sesquicentennial Commission. Appointments included two terms expiring 2004 to 2007 for park board seats and four-year terms to 2007 for the Community Services and Senior Citizens boards. Proclamations, street light and street improvements contracts, federal funding for Orangewood project, retirement plan amendments, and center sponsorship deals were approved. Next meeting is 5 p.m. Tuesday.
