Gov Haskell issues proclamation declaring Oklahoma City the permanent state capital after a decisive election. County results show a majority of 31,005 and a plurality of 66,578 in favor. The commissioners to oversee permanent buildings are expected to be named Monday.

Washington June 18 Senator Gore sailed through the senate the Perrin bill to grant eight miles of right of way to the Lawton Port Sill Electro Railroad Company for an electric street car line between Lawton and Medicine Park and the Morgan bill giving Ana darko a preference right to purchase 469 acres north of the city at its declared value. Rev Tess introduced the measure at the Commercial Club urging public scrutiny and caution about commissions and taxpayer costs.
