Boone Hite Returns to Anadarko After Treatment

Boone Hite returned Thursday morning from Oklahoma City where he had been for several weeks receiving treatment for injuries from being thrown from a buggy. He is much improved and expects to regain his usual strength, and many friends here will be glad to welcome him back to his accustomed place in Anadarko. Mrs Lee Booth, visiting Mt View, returned home at Stecker. Ley Ogle is in Claremore for health.

Snake Bites Farmer in Rock Work Southwest of Town

S. R. Porter, a well known farmer eight miles southwest of town, was bitten on the right hand by a rattlesnake while lifting a rock to make a fill in a branch. He killed the snake after it struck, and, suffering severe lacerations, received treatment from Dr. Stewart that night.

Little Swayne Boy Drowned Near Main Street Bank

A 15 year old boy, son of IM Swayne, fell into the sorting bank west of the city and drowned before aid arrived. Citizens rushed to the scene after a telephone alert, two physicians tried to save him, and the mother suffered a shock feared to be grave.

Mr Willis of Carnegie county marketed 100 bushels of wheat on Wednesday, the first report in the county. The price received was 75 cents per bushel, a figure observers hope may reflect seasonal flour prices and consumer costs.

Complaint on Corners Sewage Plan Deemed Unfounded
