Decomposed Boy Found in Lumber Car at Grewsome Site
In Chickaeha a lumber car from the O. K. Transfer yard yielded the corpse of a 14 year old boy. He wore a blue shirt and overalls with a Sweden badge. A palmistry book and testament remained in his pockets. Death appeared to result from lumber crushing him after he had slept. The car had sat seven days and the body had been dead about three weeks.

McCracken sheriff of Barber county Kansas is to stand trial tomorrow in federal court before Judge J T Dickerson for an alleged murder dated July 6 1885 twenty miles north of Chickasha near the future town of Tuttle. The 17 year old suspect fled and resurfaced last winter. indictment reactivated from aged clerk’s files.
