Guthrie June 3 United States district attorney John Embry says Oklahomans need fear no criminal prosecution under an old federal statute for their marriage relations. He explains the 1857 act affects proof by certain certificates but does not invalidate marriages or criminalize them. He has begun receiving frightful letters and seeks to reassure the public.
The county committee executive, including Mr. Scott Mr. Livesay and Dr. Mitchell, voted on the printing job. One vote supported awarding the work to us while the higher bid from the Caddo County Democrat was $50 versus our 16.80.

Hester of Apache, a state committeeman candidate, said he is confident of election and statehood carrying. Miss Lillian Methvin and Emma Melton returned from Ft. Cobb after visiting_private.

A friend notes her bright disposition and strong love for family as they mourn her untimely departure while trusting in God.
