Four men were marched to death in Mexico City for the attempt on Gen. Alvaro Obregon, former president and presidential candidate. The execution occurred inside the Mexico City prison as authorities carried out the sentence.
W M Evans former pastor from International Falls Minnesota admitted to Detective Paulson that thoughts of his two children 1500 miles away influenced him to pass a forged 3 50 check at a Tacoma department store to buy Christmas trinkets. He collapsed in the city jail and was hospitalized. Officers may not prosecute unless more bad checks surface.
Montana's state highway commission, led by Chairman O. S. Warden, announced 1928 road funding will include about 30 large projects to be bid next February and awarded by May. The plan emphasizes longer projects for economy and aligns right of way work with surveys and plans, with final details set for December 6–7.

The coroner's jury in Greeley Colorado found the deaths of John Eastenes of Lafayette and Nick Spandahkis of Erie not felonious.
