The Supreme Court today issued rulings from the Atlantic and Pacific cases on seizures of vehicles for illegal liquor transport. It held that liquor seized cars cannot strip innocent owners of all rights to recovery, and that a Rhode Island seizure of the motor boat Bay of Block Island could be turned over to federal prohibition agents even without federal involvement in the capture.
