Three men Ralph Redfield J Rodgers and Orville Paige were arrested after Redfield confessed details of abducting 14 year old Zola McNineh from the Hanson ranch near Whitehall. Police say Paige is her supposed sweetheart and the girl is believed held in Salt Lake City.

Japanese and United States officials report a new treaty acceptable to Tokyo, per Japan Daily News via a Persia cable. The accord reportedly will not affect Hawaii and aims to shape postwar relations between the two nations.
