My Friend From India: Butte Senior Class Play Rehearsals
Daily rehearsals mark the Butte high school senior class play My Friend From India a three act farce. Miss Gertrude Ryan leads the cast as they perfect parts with Ludicrous situations and vivid portrayals. A reception planned by a rich pork packer is being prepared and Tillie the maid played by Helen Little teases with a forgotten mailings cue. Bert Hayes as Augustus Keen Shaver adds magician like humor and hypnotic gestures though the curtain last night broke early leaving the final scene incomplete.
