Norwegians urged to donate chaplains for army service
In St Paul on June 12, Rev H R Gold urged the new Norwegian Lutheran church of America to supply 13 chaplains for the regular army with three from Norwegian Lutherans. He said English-speaking associations will be formed, with officers elected for the eastern and Pacific districts and the church council. A note ends with a trivial line about an orangutan going to bed.
