Terry Secures Prize in Poster Competition

Helena Montana June report: state fair poster contest awarded a $100 prize to Harry Lytle of Great Falls. J G Terry of Almaconda won second and J C Smith of Boulder third. Judges were Miss Mary Wheeler William Biggs and J H Raftery. The three designs will be used, depicting irrigation ditch scenes and grounds with fair elements and a canoe motif.

John M. Finerty Dead Funeral Held in Chicago

Funeral services for Col. John M. Finerty former president of the United Irish League of America were held in Chicago with Requiem Mass by Father Maurice B. Dorney. The sermon was given by Rev. Frank Reynolds of Aurora. Pallbearers included Judge Oldridge Honey Willa Dilton Alexander Bullivan Dr. John Grerin and B T Barry.
