Harry Byrne reports that the Copper Mines company signs a five year agreement with the Nevada Consolidated Copper to mine and treat concentrates at the Sooton plant and Steptoe works. Output targets rise to 16 000 tons monthly with a sliding scale tied to copper prices while plans for broader development and a looming copper market surge are noted.
