Debate over county courthouse plans and bond issues
County Attorney Murray warns against halting the courthouse project as mandamus could force proceedings and delay may raise bond issues. He notes $750,000 authorization splits into jail and furnishings, leaving $500,000 for construction to meet future needs, with rentals elsewhere rising yearly. Chairman Brown cites urgency and compares to Great Falls. Cronin echoes fear of harming bond sales and votes.
