Red Lodge Roscoe road seeks federal aid as trail link
Fifty two Carbon county residents drafted a resolution urging federal aid for the Red Lodge Roscoe road, the missing link between the White and Yellow trails connecting Cody Cheyenne. The plan, backed by J D F Siegfriedt, is to submit to the state highway commission and Bureau of Public Roads after county approval. The road, once deemed unnecessary, is seen as the sole east of Beartooth forests linking two major trails. County commissioners plan prompt action to push the project through both state bodies.
