Oneaberg Views Arouse Grower Interest At Convention
The sheepshearers convention heard the auditing report and proposed constitutional amendments expanding the executive board powers. Attorney Tom Davis advised on changes. A Wyoming Wool Growers communication sought views on last year’s shearing agreement, which they and the shearers found satisfactory. An exhibition and banquet is planned for Thursday with about a dozen sheep and a novice vs pro contest, likely with Hansen Packing sheep. The AFL affiliation was rejected, noting rural workers’ differing interests and the union’s international character.
