An inquest before Coroner Hardenbrook found Switchman Ed Nelson’s death, Monday in the B A and P yards, was the result of a blameless accident. Nelson toppled between train cars as he stepped across a gap. the train passed over him after a signal to stop was given. His funeral plans and local services are pending with arrangements to return his body to St Paul per his widow’s request. His brothers, railroad workers, are en route to confirm services.
