Tracy Escapes After Seattle Pursuit Fails Again

Seattle July 8 Harry Tracy the fugitive outlaw eluded King county deputies after a dramatic day of pursuit from Bainbridge Island to Renton. Tracy hid in the Gerrells home near Renton and used four unknown men to aid his escape and evade bloodhounds and a large posse over several hours before vanishing into the woods.

Morrison Gets 25-Year Sentence for Murder in Second Degree

Jessie Morrison, after three trials, is sentenced today to 25 years in the penitentiary for killing Mrs. Olin Castle at her El Dorado home in January 1900 by cutting her throat.
