Kansas Supreme Court declares Kansas Natural Gas company outlawed
Topeka july 7 the state supreme court ruled that the Kansas Natural Gas company a Delaware corporation cannot do business or hold property in Kansas. The ruling ousts the firm after it spent millions laying pipelines and preparing to serve Kansas cities from Montgomery county to Kansas City Kan. The decision bars any further construction or operation and criticizes state officials while denying the company's ability to compel the state charter board to grant permission. Governor Hoch expressed disappointment.
