No Celebration City Will Rest In Butte Independence Day
No formal Fourth of July celebration in Butte as the chamber of commerce delays event planning. Many residents plan fishing or picnics outside the city. A flag oath by Boy Scouts, a YMC A program titled Americans All, an exhibition wrestling bout, and official departures for trips mark the holiday in a day of leisure.
