Cross and Throne sermon to Dillon Presbyterians by Dr Gwynne
Dr F H Gwynne of Dillon preached at First Presbyterian Church Dillon in morning and evening services. The evening sermon titled The Cross and the Throne argued that Christ was crucified by worldliness and that many hearts still enthrone the world over conscience. He warned of envy money love and the pull of worldly power with vivid biblical examples and urged readers to crucify the world and enthrone Christ.
