Fire at the Shoup home on Nevada Avenue South Butte damaged the frame cottage and contents about 9:30 last night. James Connors rescued Mrs Ferguson after breaking down the door as she slept unaware of the danger. Fire Chief Sanger and crew quickly controlled the blaze, insured loss about 1800 with full coverage. Mrs Ferguson credited Connors for saving her life and escape.
