Man Struck by Electric Car on Front Street
Samuel Swanson, intoxicated, was struck by a streetcar of the Butte line while attempting to cross Front Street near Storey’s. He suffered lacerations and facial wounds, was taken to Murray & Freund Hospital, and rested quietly after treatment. The incident occurred as the car from Afton approached the N Pacific station. Swanson’s home is 539 Nevada Avenue.
