Anaconda School Bonds Face Constitutional Hurdles
Anaconda district trustees plan no further action to dispose of bonds after legal doubts over the state school law. They expect to pay about 4400 in interest and premiums over ten years, while debating repeal and simplification of the statutes. The issue traces to an 1880 bond issue of 17,000 with 7 percent interest and a 10 year redemption option.
