The total amount approved is 223, etc, and 1008 tractors are to commence work within 22 months of approval. Tax Deal Tangled by County Tax Sale Mess
County officials sought advice from the county attorney over a tangled tax sale involving a lot in the Boulevard addition. The lot, owned by George W. Berry, was sold for taxes to E G Smith but redeemed days later. The treasurer did not register redemptions, then issued a deed after the redemption period lapsed.
